"Clarendale of Chandler is less than two years old, so everything is practically new and beautiful. I just liked everything about it. I like the fact that all the appliances in the apartments are all pretty new, and it's all up to date. I like the menu options that they offered, and I need to get someplace where I could be fed, because I'm not taking care of myself properly. Everything was beautifully done, beautifully appointed, and wonderful. It was very nice, clean, and fresh. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and introduced me to everybody that we met along the way. They were very, very friendly and I liked it. "I visited Clarendale with my father in March 2021. We were very pleased with the room layouts and amenities. My dad is an Army Vet and was able to see Veterans enjoying breakfast in honor of their service. He was also very impressed with their “Honor Wall”. During our tour we were privileged to meet many of the staff and got to speak with them. We also got to talk with several residents that gave exceptional feedback and obviously enjoy Clarendale. Every staff member that we met were very friendly and we could tell that each one absolutely loved their jobs. We even got to meet the Chef and thoroughly enjoyed his food. "This is a brand new facility that opened a year ago that my Mom will be moving to from Dallas. Traci Jacobsen, the Director of Community relations, did an excellent job walking us through the facility and answering all our questions. My Mom will be in independent living and we really liked the spacious clean apartment with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Clarendale also has really nice, assisted living apartments which are simply smaller apartments with a kitchenette. When the time comes for assisted living, you simply transition over to one of these with the care you need provided. It has a cozy apartment feel and not a nursing home feel. "Clarendale has been such a blessing for my Mom, from the very start! She is very independent and we needed to get her moved into a place where she could do activities, exercise, go to Bible study and meet/visit with other people. She went on a virtual tour and was able to see the whole building inside and outside! She fell in love with the place. The transition has been so smooth, and all the staff has been so good to her! She loves the food, says it is always fresh, hot, and very tasty! Whenever she has a question about anything it is taken care of immediately. "My mother in law just moved into Clarendale. Due to the virus, all new residents are quarantined for 14 days. While her meal was dropped off, the attendant asked if there was anything else she needed. Mom said “I’m thirsty for some orange juice and I would like a newspaper.” She offered to pay cash. The attendant smiled and mentioned she needed to continue meal deliveries before the food got cold. Mom called me and said she was so surprised within a half hour a paper and orange juice showed up at her door! Keep in mind she’s 87 and moved here from Ohio. A very huge task for an elderly person. "I moved my mom from CA to live with me in AZ this February. I had reached out to Clarendale even before they opened their new facility here in Chandler and Julie Mitchell is AMAZING! We were thinking of moving my mom to Clarendon but once we found out we had the extra room in our home, we kept her with us. And then we had the Pandemic. Julie has been so awesome at following up on my mom’s well being that she called one day just to see if we needed toilet paper or even hand sanitizers (which we had thankfully). She also said if my mom needed anything, she would be there for us.
